Amanda is currently in post-production on two short films funded by the New Zealand Film Commission and in 2023 received NZFC Early Development Funding towards Vetiver Pictures’ first feature film. Most recently her short film In Conversation with Jack Maurer (dir. Hash) was selected to premiere in Official Selection at Venice Film Festival 2025. Earlier this year, her short film Womb (dir. Ira Hetaraka) premiered at Tribeca Festival 2025. Womb has since played In Competition at Sydney Film Festival, Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival.

In 2023 Amanda worked as a Producer's Assistant under producer Vicky Pope on director Rob Sarkies feature Pike River, releasing in 2025. In 2022 she produced music documentary series Amplified for RNZ and The Spinoff, funded by New Zealand On Air. In 2020 she worked as an associate producer under producer Letisha Tate-Dunning on director Charlotte Evans' Loading Docs short documentary OK Chlöe which has since been picked up by The New Yorker, Short of the Week, and numerous international film festivals.

Amanda has produced award-winning music videos for musicians Benee, Courtney Barnett, Chelsea Jade, LAIIKA and Finn Andrews. Her written work has been published in Metro, The Creative Independent, Vice, The Pantograph Punch, Newsroom, The Spinoff and Flicks.

Amanda has held various positions at Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival spanning Programming, Audience Development and Marketing and co-programmed the monthly Capitol Cinema Film Club in Auckland.

Amanda currently works in the Partnerships team at Letterboxd while developing several film and television projects.
